Firstlan School for Musicians

The FirstLan School for Musicians is an online international music academy by London Arts and Talents, designed for everyone who dreams of expressing themselves through sound — from aspiring performers to experienced artists. Our goal is to make world-class music education accessible anywhere, with lessons offered in English and Russian. The programme is led by our ambassador in New Zealand — Yulia Yagunova, an extraordinary jazz pianist, composer, and educator with a truly global background.
Yulia studied music in the USA, New Zealand, and Russia, and has spent over five years performing and teaching in China, where she was a resident pianist at the renowned JZ Club Shanghai — one of Asia’s top jazz venues.

Throughout her career, she has collaborated with leading international jazz artists, performing on stages across Europe, Asia, and Oceania. Her music blends classical precision, emotional storytelling, and the freedom of jazz improvisation, creating a deeply inspiring experience for both audiences and students.

At FirstLan School, Yulia brings this global experience into every lesson — helping musicians grow technically, creatively, and emotionally. Her teaching is about more than technique; it’s about finding your voice and building confidence through sound.

Individual lessons – £35 per session / £120 per month (4 sessions)

Yulia Yagunova

Jazz pianist, composer, and educator with over 15 years of international experience.
Based in New Zealand, Yulia Yagunova is a highly accomplished musician who has collaborated with renowned jazz artists and performed at major festivals and venues across Europe, Asia, and Oceania.

As a LAT Ambassador and curator of the FirstLan School for Musicians, Yulia teaches in both English and Russian, helping students develop not only strong technical skills but also creative expression and stage confidence.

Yulia runs two active YouTube channels where she shares performances, collaborations, and educational content:
