This Refund Policy explains the terms under which payments may be refunded for participation fees, publications, and other creative services.
By completing a transaction with us (via website, invoice, or other payment method), you agree to the terms outlined below.
1. Overview
Most of our activities involve creative and event-based services, where fees are used immediately for planning, logistics, printing, or curation.
Therefore, participation and registration fees are generally non-refundable, except in special cases described below.
We encourage all participants to review event details carefully before confirming any payment.
2. Non-Refundable Items
Refunds will not be issued for:

Completed exhibitions, art fairs, or events.

Printed or digital catalogues once production has begun.

Participation cancelled by the applicant after confirmation.

Services or digital materials already delivered.

Bank or platform fees charged by third-party payment processors (e.g., PayPal, Stripe, Wix Payments).
This policy ensures that the funds collected go directly towards supporting artists, production, and venue costs.
3. Eligibility for Refunds
Refunds may be approved only in the following situations:

Event cancellation by us: if a project or exhibition is cancelled entirely, participants are entitled to a full refund or credit towards another event.

Duplicate or accidental payment: a full refund will be issued upon verification.

Administrative error: where a charge was made incorrectly.

Force majeure: if an event cannot take place due to extraordinary circumstances (natural disaster, lockdown, war, etc.), we will offer either a refund or transfer to an alternative event.
Refund requests are evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
4. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, please contact us by email at info@londonartsandtalents.co.uk within 14 calendar days of the payment date.
Please include:

Proof of payment (transaction ID, invoice, or screenshot).

Event or project name.

Reason for refund request.
We aim to respond to refund requests within 5 working days.
Approved refunds are processed via the original payment method within 10–15 working days.
5. Event Postponements or Changes
If an event is rescheduled rather than cancelled:

All paid entries or participation fees will automatically transfer to the new date.

If the participant cannot attend, we may offer a credit note valid for up to 12 months, applicable to future exhibitions or projects.
6. Digital Goods and Publications
For downloadable materials, digital catalogues, or online creative submissions, refunds are not available once access or files have been delivered, in accordance with the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations (2013) for digital content.
7. Disputes and Chargebacks
If a payment dispute or chargeback occurs through a payment platform (e.g., Stripe or PayPal), we will contact you directly to resolve the issue amicably.
Chargebacks raised without prior communication may affect your eligibility for future participation in LAT projects.
