TAN Art Residency. Astana, Kazakhstan
26/04/25, 11:00
Artist and illustrator Rufina Adeleeva, member of London Arts & Talents, took part in the TAN Art Residency program “Artificial Intelligence and Digital Art: New Horizons of Creativity in Kazakhstan.”

The residency brought together artists, designers, and researchers to explore how emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence and digital media are transforming artistic practice. The program encouraged participants to reflect on the role of human imagination in an era increasingly shaped by algorithms, automation, and new visual languages.
Rufina’s participation in the residency marked a continuation of her artistic journey that merges traditional illustration with experimental digital techniques. In her recent projects, she investigates the intersection between technology, emotion, and visual storytelling — creating artworks that combine intuitive creativity with structured, data-driven aesthetics.
During the residency, Rufina presented a series of conceptual sketches and digital compositions inspired by the dialogue between human and machine intelligence. Her approach emphasized the emotional dimension of technology, exploring how digital tools can extend rather than replace the artist’s inner vision.
The TAN Art Residency has become one of the most innovative platforms in Central Asia for artistic experimentation and collaboration. Its 2025 edition focused on digital transformation in contemporary art, offering participants workshops, discussions, and exhibitions that bridge technology and creative thought.
By taking part in this initiative, Rufina Adeleeva not only represented London Arts & Talents on an international stage but also contributed to the growing conversation about the future of art in a digital world. Her work reminds us that true creativity remains deeply human — even when expressed through the language of machines.
